A van hit the central reservation on the M5, causing the vehicle to overturn.
The crash happened just before 6am this morning (Wednesday, July 22) between J21 Weston-super-Mare and J22 southbound.
Two lanes were closed as a result of this and there were delays of 35 minutes at one point.
All lanes had reopened by 9am on Tuesday.
In a statement, Avon and Somerset Police said: "We were called just before 6am after a van has hit the central reservation and overturned.

"No serious injuries.
"The van has been recovered and the carriageway was being re-opened."
The ambulance service, as well as the fire service, have been contacted for more information.
