M4 Severn Bridge crash: Car hits central reservation and man taken to hospital

A man was taken to hospital last night after a crash on the M4 Prince of Wales Bridge.

Police were called to the bridge over the River Severn yesterday (February 1) after a car hit the central reservation.

An Avon and Somerset police spokesman said: "We received a call at about 10.15pm following a single-vehicle collision on the M4 westbound between junctions 22 (Pilning) and 23 (Caldicot).

“A car had collided with the central reservation and there was debris in the road.

“The driver, a man in his 20s, was taken to hospital by ambulance.”
