M4 'middle lane hogger' has car seized after 'giving false details' to police

Police stopped a "middle lane hogger" on the M4 and seized his car.

The driver was "unnecessarily" driving in lane two of the motorway through Wiltshire for several miles in the early hours today (February 11).

Wiltshire Police's Specialist Operations teams said the M4 was almost empty so performed a stop and check.

The driver reportedly "gave false details" when initially questioned and when pressed it was revealed he did not have a full UK driving licence.

The Specialist Ops team reported him for driving offences and seized the vehicle.
