Parts of the M32 and the A4174 ring road near Bristol will be closed overnight for almost four months starting from tonight (Tuesday, January 4).
The road restrictions are being put in place so that inspections can be carried out on the motorway bridge at junction one of the M32.
There will be a complex survey carried out by National Highways alongside work on the four bridge decks at the junction.

Lane closures will be in place on the A4174 Avon ring road at the junction with the M32 as well as on the motorway.
The works will be carried out overnight between 8.30pm and 6am from Monday to Friday.
They begin tonight (Tuesday, January 4) and will continue until Wednesday, April 20.
The details of the overnight closures are as follows:
- January 4 to January 10: A4174 roundabout outer ring closure.
- January 4 to January 11: M32 southbound bridge decks closed, traffic will be diverted via the A4174 roundabout.
- January 11 to January 17: A4174 roundabout inner ring closure.
- January 12 to January 19: M32 northbound bridge decks closed, traffic will be diverted via the A4174 roundabout.
- January 18 to April 20: A4174 three lanes closed at the junction, single lane in operation and footpath open.
- January 20 to January 26: M32 southbound bridge decks closed, traffic will be diverted via the A4174 roundabout.
- January 27 to February 2: M32 northbound bridge decks closed, traffic will be diverted via the A4174 roundabout.
