M23 crash: 80-year-old driver of 116-year-old vintage car dies after collision with lorry

A man has died after a motorway crash involving a 116-year-old vintage car.

The crash happened on the southbound carriageway of the M23 near Hooley, Surrey, at about 10am on Sunday.

It involved a car - a 1903 Knox Runabout Old Porcupine - and a lorry.

The driver of the car, an 80-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after the collision.

A female passenger was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Police have told the man's next of kin.
