M1 Motorway southbound lanes reopened following truck crash

All southbound lanes of the M1 Motorway are now reopened at Somersby following an earlier truck crash approaching Peats Ridge Road.

Motorists were advised to exit the M1 at the Ourimbah Interchange and use the Pacific Hwy via Gosford as an alternative route.

This diversion was suitable for all vehicles.

Traffic was heavy, even after the road reopened, and motorists were advised to exercise caution and allow extra travel time.
