A man in his 50s has died following a collision on Dublin's M1 this afternoon.
The single vehicle collision happened on the northbound side of the busy motorway, with the road still closed to traffic this evening.
The man was the sole occupant of the van and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Gardai are now appealing for witnesses, or those who may have dashcam footage, to get in touch.

A garda spokesman said: "Gardaí are investigating a fatal single vehicle road traffic collision involving a van that occurred on the M1 Northbound between Junction 3 Swords - Junction 4 Donabate on 28/09/2020 at approximately 12:45pm.
"A man aged in his 50s, the driver and sole occupant of the van, was pronounced dead at the scene.
"The road remains closed for a technical examination.
"Gardaí are appealing for anyone with information, particularly any road users who may have dash-cam footage, to contact Swords Garda Station on 01 666 4700 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111."
