Drivers are stuck in long delays on the M1 northbound in West Yorkshire after a serious collision closed the carriageway.
Highways England says the carriageway was closed following a crash between junction 42 (Lofthouse) and junction 44 (Rothwell).
All lanes were closed at around 8.15am on Friday, April 5 and a diversion is now in place.
Drivers are being told to expect delays of around 60 minutes and traffic is queuing for several miles.
