M1 closed at Stockman's lane due to crash

Part of the M1 in Belfast has been closed due to a crash.

It happened city-bound between Junction three, Black's Road, and Junction two, Stockman's Lane.

A PSNI spokesman said: "Could motorists be advised that police are currently dealing with a road traffic collision on the M1 citybound between junction three Black's Road and junction two Stockman's Lane.

"Motorists to take an alternative route as motorway has been closed."

Meanwhile, police said that a full closure of the A29 is being put in Co Tyrone.

It is between the Tullycullion Road and Thomas Street roundabout, Dungannon due to a land slip and unstable ground.

A PSNI spokesman said: "Engineers are enroute to assess the ground but due to the earlier slip, as well as the height of the banks and the narrowness of the road the road is going to be closed.

"Diversions are going to be through Donaghmore.

"The road is likely to remain closed into the morning rush hour so motorists should allow extra time for their journey."
