M&S shoppers say 'comfy' £25 Birkenstock dupes are a 'summer wardrobe essential'

It seems the Birkenstock trend isn’t going anywhere, anytime soon, and whether you love them or hate them, there’s no denying that they’re one of the comfiest shoes on the market - so we’re not surprised to see the iconic sandal taking over our Instagram and TikTok feeds as we head into summer.

Although we’re big lovers of the brand, it’s safe to say they don’t come cheap, so if you’re on a tighter budget, we’ve spotted this £25 pair from Marks & Spencer that look almost identical to Birkenstock’s Arizona sandals which retail for £75.

The budget-friendly slip-on sandals boast a similar two-strap front buckle and flatform design which can be found on the pricer designer pair, as well as a faux suede footbed and cork detailing on the front of the shoes.

They’re available in a dark tan colourway with brushed gold buckles which can be tightened for the perfect fit, or you can go for the classic navy colour featuring black adjustable buckles.

The dupes have already gained plenty of praise from hundreds of customers who have left five-star reviews on the M&S website calling the sandals ‘so comfortable’ and ‘a summer essential.’

One delighted shopper said: “I have bought numerous pairs of these sandals. They are so comfortable, stylish and a 3rd of the price of the well known brand.”

A second customer added: “Brilliant value purchase for summer. Have lived in since they arrived. Good arch support and look like the real deal.”

While a third said: “Comfy sandals and because they are leather, with a cork footbed, your feet don't get sweaty.”

The M&S dupes could save you a whipping £50 when compared to the Birkenstock’s Arizona sandals - so not only will you be getting the exact same look, but you’ll be keeping your bank account happy too.
