Marks and Spencer has another fashion hit on their hands after a recent Instagram post had shoppers in a frenzy.
The M&S account on Instagram shared an image of a new dress for Spring - and immediately had a huge response from fans who were loving the summer vibes of the beautiful look.
The dress - which has since been dubbed the 'dress of dreams' - is an ankle-length polka dot sun dress, with the all important oversized collar detail which is the on-trend look for Summer 2021.
On Instagram the social media caption read: "We’ll find any excuse to wear this polka-dot shirt dress, and if the sun won’t shine we’ll just find the perfect sunshine yellow doorway."
The post has already been liked over 7,300 times, and has racked up hundreds of comments.
And, there are striking similarities between this dress and a sell out Zara polka dot dress that was so popular in 2019 it even had its own Instagram account.
Beneath the photo, one shopper said: “This is gorgeous!!” while another said: “Looks beautiful”.
A third wrote: “Omg I need”.
A fourth said: “Dress of dreams right there”.
Another shopper said: “Bought it, worn it, love it already”.
The dress costs £45, and is available to buy on the Marks and Spencer website now - although already several sizes are showing as out of stock.
The dress is available in two different lengths - regular and long.
It has already garnered several five-star reviews on the M&S website.
One five-star review read: "I saw this in an ad , so went to look at it. I don't wear white as a rule, but it looked clean and nice. I ordered one size up than normal and glad I did . It hangs lovely and looks nice on. I'm tall and slightly on the big side , but I still looked good in it. I could dress this up for night time look , or dress down with trainers for a day time look its also a nice length."
Another review read: "This dress is so pretty and feels so comfortable. Obviously the skirt is straight so it was necessary for me to go up a size. Worth it."
A third reviewer wrote: "Great dress nice material."
