Marks & Spencer has introduced a new buying limit on its Christmas snow globe gin after huge demand from shoppers this year.
Staff at stores across the country have introduced a two bottles per customer rule after demand outweighed supply, reports KentLive.
It comes after reports shoppers were going to extreme lengths to get themselves a bottle of the gin which also lights up.
Some have "spent weeks" trying to get hold of it, only for new stock to be snapped up as soon as it is restocked.
The gin liqueur comes in two flavours - clementine and new offering, rhubarb.
Both contain 23-carat edible gold leaf which creates a sparkly effect, which dazzles when shaken in the light-up bottle - just like a snow globe.
According to one M&S Facebook group, shoppers have had a lot of trouble getting their hands on the product.
One shopper said: "Hubby trying to get one of these for weeks. Went this morning, they told him they had a delivery on Wednesday of 1,500....all gone."
Another wrote: "Again another failing I've been trying to buy it for over a month!!"
Bottles on the gin are also reportedly being sold for double its original price on alternative websites too.
