M&S love sausage is back for Valentine's Day with shoppers calling it the 'best product ever'

The M&S love sausage is returning for Valentine's Day and it's gained quite the reaction.

The love sausage was first released in 2019 but M&S took to its Facebook this week to announce it was coming back.

Underneath its post fans have commented sharing their excitement, with some claiming the sausage is the "best product" ever thanks to its name.

M&S' Love Sausages are, quite simply, sausages shaped as hearts, so you can enjoy them as part of breakfast, lunch or dinner, and even whack an egg in the middle should you wish to do so.

The meaty treats were so popular last year, for 2020 M&S has decided to release a mini version, as well as its giant Love Sausage.

In its Facebook post, it said: "#Thisisntjust any love sausage... This is the ORIGINAL love sausage and it's back!

"If you love sausage, you’ll love our new Give a Little Love Sausage – that’s two small sausages for £5 – as well as our large Love Sausage for £6!

"Whether you like them big or small, say it with sausages this Valentine's. Who will you be sharing yours with? #lovesausage #MyMarksFave."

In the comments, one user said: "Plenty of Love Sausages about on Valentine's Day I bet."

Another, said: "This sold out quick last year, a lot of people in need of love sausages, just saying."

A third joked: "Don't think many Men would agree its the Original Love Sausage lol."

And a fourth said: "Quite possibly some of the best product naming/marketing out there at the moment...."
