M&S light up snowglobe gin is £5 in Black Friday deal

M&S' light up snowglobe Christmas gin in Clementine and Sugar Plum flavours is in huge demand this year.

The supermarket has already warned of low stock levels of the gin after shoppers flocked to stock up on the festive tipple.

The gin lights up and contains edible gold shavings to add a bit of festive cheer and is priced at £20.

There are light up rum bottles available and magnum-size bottles on the M&S website but there is a Black Friday trick that gets a standard size bottle of the in-demand drink for just £5.

New members to deals website Topcashback can sign up to get a £15 Black Friday welcome bonus.

The cashback is paid to anybody who signs up here as a new member and then orders something from a participating store.

The list of stores includes Ocado, which is selling the M&S snowglobe gin for £20. With the £15 welcome bonus it means you can grab a bottle of the gin for just £5.

M&S has already warned over gin shortages for Christmas.

It said: "DING DING! Important Snow Globe Update! Due to unprecedented demand, our Madagascan Vanilla Rum Liqueur Snow Globe has flown off the shelves, and we are down to our LAST REMAINING bottles in stores.

"If you have your heart set one for a Christmas gift (or may have 'tested' one already purchased as a gift…) get yourself to an M&S store ASAP and grab one before they are gone! (other members of the Snow Globe family still available, for now…)"

The gin and rum has earned rave reviews this year.

The Reviews Club says of the gin: "In a world of flavoured Christmassy gin liqueurs that hit you on the head with their scented flavours, M&S's spiced plum version is a little bit different.

"When you smell it or drink it neat over ice there is a much more traditional botanical gin feel to it, but as soon as you add a mixer the plum end notes really come through adding a sweetness and warmth that stays - just - the right side of too sweet."
