M&S launches Haggis Pizza in time for Hogmanay - and it's topped with neeps and tatties too

Any true Scot will already have one eye on Hogmanay, and be ready to celebrate the turn of the year in true Scottish style.

And while we might need to keep a lid on the shenanigans this year, we can still eat, drink and be merry - just in our own houses, and in our own bubbles.

So what better way to ring in 2021 than with a pizza feast topped with an auld favourite - haggis, neeps and tatties.

M&S's delicious new Hogmanay treat is a pizza topped with creamy bechamel sauce, mozzarella and crumbled haggis, finished with traditional roast potato and swede.

And it's a genius way to combine a classic Scottish meal with a party favourite, keeping everyone full and happy this New Year's Eve.

The hand-stretched dough is proved for 65 minutes before being topped with oil and dusted in semolina to create a golden colour.

It is then baked on Italian volcanic lava stones in a brick kiln oven because, after all, this is not just ANY Haggis Pizza.

The distinctly Scottish pizza will hit the aisles of M&S from tomorrow, December 18.

It's priced at just £4.25 on its own or you can buy it as part of a £10 meal deal, which includes two pizzas and two sides.

You could pair the Haggis Pizza with Garlic Doughballs and Chunky Chips and try M&S's Very Veggie Pizza.

This stone baked, hand-stretched pizza base is topped with tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, sautéed chestnut mushrooms, grilled peppers, white onion petals and sweetcorn.
