M&S launch Percy Pig ice-cream with strawberry marshmallows

M&S have just made one of their best-selling sweets into an ice cream to get Scots through lockdown.

The supermarket has transformed Percy Pigs into a dessert with a ripple of fruity sauce and strawberry marshmallows.

Punters can be assured that the ice cream still has the unmistakable raspberry and grape flavour of their beloved sweets.

Sadly, you don't get a packet of Percy Pigs with the ice cream, so anyone wanting to whip up sundae will need to pay for these separately.

M&S recommends serving it as a lemonade float or loading it on a banana with lots of sprinkles.

With lockdown well underway, it could be perfect for a family movie night in, or for treating the kids on a sunny day in the garden.

The tasty dessert is v egetarian-friendly too.

Tubs of the Percy Pig ice-cream cost £3 and can be found in the M&S freezer section from April 13.

Packs of Percy Pig sweets start from £1.65 - so in total you will pay £4.65 if you want to make a tasty sundae.

You can also get Percy Pig syrup for £2 in stores.

Unfortunately, you can't order it online on the supermarket's food to go service.
