Whether they're from McDonald's or from the supermarket, mozzarella sticks are a treat many people enjoy and now M&S has launched the next best thing as part of its every growing Plant Kitchen range.
The range of vegan-friendly products has proved massively popular since being launched in January and has just got bigger with the interestingly named Not-zzarella sticks the highlight of the new additions.
The sticks described as 'mozzarella-style vegan cheese in a crispy breadcrumb coating' come with a tomato and herb dip and weigh in at 299 calories by 100g.
Their box says they are recommended for 8 but we challenge anyone to share them!
M&S shoppers who've tried the sticks so far claim they are "delicious" and there's been a huge reaction to a post about them on the Extreme Couponing & Bargains UK Facebook page.
A very happy customer proclaimed "I’ve had em they’re lush," and in agreement, another follower of the page reacted "They are delicious!"
And those people who haven't tried the sticks yet are clearly keen to do so. One person wrote "these sound lush," and another interested person commented "These look super yummy."
The other new Plant Kitchen additions include Mac Bites, Sri Lankan-style sweet potato & cashew curry with sweet potatoes & spinach served with rice, quinoa & chickpeas, coconut panna cotta with mango, a vegan chocolate mousse, churros and chocolate sauce, and a zingy raspberry jelly.
