With the sunshine expected to return this weekend, Brits will be wanting to fire up the barbecue once again.
And Marks & Spencer has launched vegan avocado burger and hot dog buns to help you get in the summer mood.
The buns use pureed avocado in place of egg, giving them a slightly green colour, while coconut oil is used to create that classic brioche texture. Both buns are a good source of vitamin D and fibre too.
Part of the retailer's 'Plant Kitchen' food range, the buns are available in packs of two for £1.15 each and can be found in M&S foodhalls. You can track down your nearest M&S branch using the store finder here.
M&S Bakery Product Developer, Kirsty Rowley said: "Our new avoca-dough buns are the perfect BBQ accompaniment and complement our amazing Plant Kitchen selection beautifully but go equally well with some of our fantastic meat-based products too. The softness of these brioche style rolls soak-up all the fantastic BBQ juices for ultimate summer bite.
"I love the buns with our Plant Kitchen No Beef Burgers, a big dollop of ketchup lettuce, tomato and a couple of extra slices of avocado for good measure."
Marks & Spencer's Plant Kitchen has other products that are perfect for summer barbecues, such as its Chorizo Puppies and The No Beef Burger.

If you haven't been able to leave the house during lockdown, you'll be pleased to hear that M&S has restocked its essential food boxes that are now priced at £28.
The supermarket is also selling a low-calorie ice cream for those warm summer days.
The Count on Us Madagascan Vanilla Ice Cream costs £3 for a one litre tub and there are only 62 calories a portion, or 496 for the full tub.
