M&S issues allergy warning over curry and recalls product to stores

Marks & Spencer has issued a recall notice for a curry product sold in stores. The retailer has cited an allergy concern over the dish.

M&S has recalled Count on Us Thai style green chicken Curry because some packs contain crustaceans and molluscs which are not mentioned on the label. This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to crustaceans and/or molluscs.

The company's update says that only packs with an expiry date of January 22 may be affected with the barcode number 29137886. As well as recalling the product from customers, it has contacted the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall.

If you have bought the above product and have an allergy to crustaceans and/or molluscs, do not eat it. Instead, return it to your nearest store for a full refund. For more information contact Marks & Spencer on 03330148555.
