M&S is selling 'chip shop scraps' for a quid

Marks and Spencer is selling possibly the best thing you can get at a fish and chip shop - scraps.

Scraps, scrimps, bits - whatever you call them - you can now get them to add to your homemade chippy tea.

They cost £1, so probably one of the cheaper delicious items in the M&S foodhall, but definitely not as cheap as getting them from the chip shop as they are usually free.

An eagle-eyed shopper posted the discovery on Facebook group, Extreme Coupons and Bargains UK.

For anyone who doesn't know, scraps are the tiny bits of batter that fall of the fish or sausage in batter and get muddled in with the chips at the bottom of the bag. We're not sure how much of a hit they'll be, what do you think?

Recently, Marks and Spencer has announced a 'big change' to its in-store bakeries. After 12 months of planning, the supermarket said the section would  look like "you've never seen it before" after a number of changes.

The new additions will make its bakeries feel "completely different".

M&S has added eight new products which have taken a whole year to develop. The new items include Banana Bread and Almond Muffin and Mushroom & Cheese Swirl.
