M&S is now selling candles that look just like its famous cocktail cans

M&S is no stranger to creative launches, from Easter eggs to its viral seasonal launches. Now, the supermarket has put its signature quirky twist on home fragrance by launching a range of candles that look like its popular canned cocktails, including mojito, pina colada, pink passion star martini and gin and tonic candles.

In-keeping with the rise of supermarket tipples, M&S’s tinned cocktails have become a mainstay of pre-picnic supermarket runs, train journeys and picky bit spreads – in fact, M&S’s canned margarita was our tester’s favourite budget canned cocktails in our tried and taste-tested review (though this isn’t available in a candle, unfortunately).

Housed in colourful glass jars, the new candles are, of course, for sniffing rather than sipping, and are said to offer a burn-time of up to 100 hours. And, like the rest of the supermarket's homeware range (some of which wouldn’t look out of place in Soho Home), they’re affordable at £10 each.

Whether you’re partial to a mojito, a fan of a pina colada, or you simply love the fun, playful design of the candles (or know someone who would), read on for what we know so far.
