Whilst we can't say French pastries have ever been much of a feature at our Christmas dinner table, according to Marks and Spencer, chocolate éclairs are absolutely a festive food.
So for their Christmas 2019 food range, the aspirational British supermarket has just launched a giant, foot-long chocolate éclair.
Surely the largest éclair we've ever seen, the massive dessert launches in stores next week, on Monday 30th September, and is rightfully named their 'Biggest Ever Éclair'.
Costing just £10 , the statement pudding features buttery choux pastry, filled with delicious fresh cream, before being drizzled with melted milk chocolate. We're salivating at the thought...
But a huge chocolate éclairs isn't the only thing getting M&S fans excited about Christmas, with M&S also revealing this week that they'll launch a special edition Colin the Caterpillar for the festive season too.
The éclair initially sparked interest when it was posted on the popular Facebook page Money Saver Online, where it's received almost 15,000 comments from excited pudding lovers.
Also set to arrive in M&S this Christmas is a fully vegan Christmas dinner - including canapés, plus the 'Perfect Turkey'.
As for supersizing, Marks and Spencer will also be increasing the size of their famous Brie en Croute - a cheesy starter comprising of gooey Brie cheese encased in a flaky pastry crust - which will now be larger than ever and cost £10.
Now we just need to start saving...
