Valentine's Day is almost here and Marks and Spencer has revealed a new food treat that has caught the attention of shoppers thanks to its quirky name.
The retailer has taken to its social media to announce a new Yumnut, which it has dubbed 'love nuts' in celebration of the most romantic day of the year.
Posting a picture of the treat on the M&S Facebook page and Instagram, the retailer said: “Feel the LOVE NUTS this Valentine's! Our new love nut Yumnut™ lands in store TODAY – a heavenly hybrid of a yum yum and a doughnut, decorated with freeze-dried raspberries and chocolate hearts. Tag someone you'd love to share one with!"
And of course, many M&S fans took the opportunity to tag loved ones and have a giggle at the name.
One said: "This cracks me right up, who wouldn't want to feel the love nuts on Valentine's Day."

Another added: "I love your adverts these days. Last year it was a love sausage. An aubergine for Easter. Brilliant PR. You gotta have a sense of humour especially in these trying times. Well done M&S. I tag my hubby."

Over on Instagram, one shopper commenting on the product said: "Not the kind of lovenut I'm after but I'll take it."
It's not the first time the retailer has made customers laugh in the name of love. In 2019, M&S revealed its pig in blanket style breakfast dish, which it called the 'love sausage'.
