M&S has a petrifying new range of Halloween food including Eyeball Pizza Dracula's Blood and Zombie Brain Jelly

As we hurtle towards the most horrifying time of the year, perhaps the most frightful thing about it is that this year guising has been cancelled.

Many parents are planning to make up for missing out on the annual trek round the neighbourhood with creative ways to celebrate Halloween at home.

And one of the key factors in any spooky night in is a suitably scary selection of food.

There's Draculas Blood to drink - which is really a fruity diluting juice (M&S)

Thankfully M&S is one of several food retailers with a macabre menu on offer - and in true M&S style it all looks horrifically good.

If you're planning a bloodcurdling buffet, there are some spectacular options that not only look perfectly splendid amongst your Halloween decorations, but will also go down a treat with kids and adults alike.

Our favourites include Frankencolin the Caterpillar and his matching mini monsters, a wibbly wobbly green jelly made with mindblowing popping candy, and extra spicy Ghouliflower Popcorn, which is an assault on the tastebuds.

The Toffee Apple Bangers are a twist on the traditional hot dog (M&S)

All of the food is available in your local M&S store, or you can place an M&S order online from Ocado and have it delivered.

There is a 3 for £10 offer on most of the Halloween range as well right now, meaning you can feed the whole family on fright night for a tenner.

Here are our favourite freaky foods from the M&S Halloween Food collection:

The Petrifying Popping Zombie Brain Jelly will look great on a Halloween dinner table (M&S)

Dracula's Blood Fruit Squash, £1.50

Frankencolin the Caterpilla, £7

Eerie Eyeball Pizza, £4

Fiendish Firepit Wings, £4

Bubbling Cheese Cauldron, £4.50

Popping Zombie Brain Jelly, £4.50

Churros with Devilish Dip, £4

Mummy Meatloaf, £4

Pigs in Bandages, £4

Oozing Skulls Strawberry Jelly Sweets, £1.20

Of course Halloween isn't the only magically themed food available at M&S just now, with a full range of Harry Potter food also on sale right now.
