M&S extends kids eat free deal to help families for the rest of the summer

M&S has come to the rescue of cash-strapped parents who are looking for ways to spend time together while saving money.

The high-street retail giant recently announced the decision to extend its popular 'Kids Eat Free' deal in all cafes for the duration of the summer holidays.

The deal - which usually only runs for two weeks - will now run for six weeks until Friday, September 2. It means that families can treat their little ones while still sticking to a budget for the remainder of the summer period.

M&S had previously extended the deal by one week until August 12, it's extending the offer even further due to popular demand.

It comes after the retailer just recently introduced a brand new kids menu in all its cafes across the country to celebrate the return of the iconic offer.

The retailer recently launched a new kids menu (M&S)

New items include the new free Kids’ Munch Menu breakfast, which is available until 11am, as well as the Kids Munch Menu Lunch, which is available from 11am until closing.

The deal will let parents save up to £3.95, as the breakfast is a main and drink normally costing £2.95, and lunch is a main and snack and Drink normally costing £3.95

Parents can grab a free meal for their little one when they spend £5 or more in a single transaction on food or drink for a single adult.

Some of the items that kids can enjoy with M&S' deal is pancakes with blueberries & honey for breakfast, a ham & cheese toastie and cheese & tomato pizza for lunch, as well as sandwich and roll options.

And M&S are not the only retailer to help parents dine out with their little ones for less this summer. A line-up of big name supermarket's and restaurants - including Asda, Dobbies, Brewer's Fayre and more - all announced deals that can help families keep costs low during the summer.

We previously rounded up six different places where kids can eat for free or for just £1 this summer.
