M&S expands vegan range with 175 new plant kitchen products for Veganuary

Marks and Spencer has revealed it has expanded its Plant Kitchen range with a variety of new plant-based products for customer to enjoy this Veganuary.

If you're considering cutting down your dairy and meat consumption this New Year, then M&S are here to help you as they introduce 175 new vegan products into their Plant Kitchen range.

The high street retailers award-winning plant-based range expanded on Saturday January 1 and is available for shoppers both online and in-stores now.

It follows as retailers and restaurants across the country begin to expand their range of vegan selections for January, with Burger King also recently launching the first ever Vegan Chicken Nuggets.

M&S have said its new Plant Kitchen range is perfect for "Friday-night treats, cooking dinner from scratch, or grabbing lunch on the go."

With their new selections, M&S has said that the new range has made it super easy for customers and their families to incorporate more plant-based foods into their diet.

This year, M&S has pulled out all the stops for this Veganuary with a selection of products that have all been bench marked for taste against their meaty counterparts.

Curry Night is sorted with the Plant Kitchen Tikka Masala (M&S)

Among the new additions is the newly launched Plant Kitchen Tikka Masala that is the delicious alternative for your Friday night takeaway.

The retailer has said that the same cooking techniques have been used "to craft a vegan recipe, containing 12 fragrant, balanced spices, creamy coconut milk, flame-grilled onions, roasted squash and cauliflower. "

Pizza Friday's are still a go with the new Plant Kitchen Sourdough Hot & Spicy Wood-fired Pizza (M&S)

If you've always been more of a pizza lover than a curry fanatic on the weekend, then fear not, as the retailers Plant Kitchen Sourdough Hot & Spicy Wood-fired Pizza is up for grabs.

This vegan pizza comes topped with vegan pepperoni, creamy vegan mozzarella, pickled jalapeno chilies, spicy roquito chilies and tomato sauce spiked with hot smoked paprika.

Also featured in the new range is the Plant Kitchen Lasagne, which M&S has said has taken their chefs a year to perfect. It is described as an umami flavour bombe, bringing savory richness to the ragu, combined with a creamy vegan béchamel and topped with Santarella tomatoes.

That's not all though - as the Plant Kitchen Veggie Balls and Veggie Mince have been described as a "game changer" by the high street retailer.

If you're maybe looking for some plant power on-the-go, then there is also the brand new Plant Kitchen VLT, made with vine-ripened tomatoes, no-pork bacon and crisp lettuce on malted bread.

Combined with the new vegan version of the famous cheese twists and you have yourself the perfect plant-based lunch.

Shoppers can now get their hands on a vegan version of the iconic cake jars (M&S)

To top off the new vegan range is a plant-based version of the retailers iconic cake jars, as M&S have introduced the Plant Kitchen Chocolate Cake Jar - a first for the retailer!
