M&S' 'delicious' Christmas chocolate has some shoppers making the same joke

Marks and Spencer's have been accused by shoppers of copying another brand with a new Christmas chocolate bar, not long after they settled their row with Aldi.

A new treat from the high-street retail chain went viral on social media recently after it was shared to the popular NewFoodsuk foodie page.

The high-street retail chain has become iconic for its vast range of delicious and show-stopping treats during the festive period, and their latest looks to be another hit - even if some think it has 'copied another brand'.

As part of their new seasonal range, M&S has launched A Winter Wonderbar which is a chunky milk chocolate bar with white chocolate mountain peaks.

And, if you think that it looks a little similar to the iconic peaked Toblerone bar that we have all came to know and love, then you wouldn't be alone, as many others noticed the similarities.

The foodie page captioned the find: "New M&S A Winter Wonderbar. Chunky Milk Chocolate Bar with Blond & White Chocolate Mountain Peaks!"

The post was then inundated with nearly 5k reactions and over 6k comments from shoppers, with many pointing out that M&S had taken inspiration from the popular Swiss branded chocolate.

"Hope Toblerone kick off like M&S did over that caterpillar", joked one shopper.

"They look good, but very 'Tobleronesque'!", agreed a second.

"So, basically a Toblerone broken down and re-stuck together", commented a third.

"Time for Cuthbert and Toblerone to join forces. Make it happen Aldi UK! We are counting on yo", quipped a fourth.

Despite the jokes from some, there were quite a few who couldn't wait to get their hands on the seasonal chocolate, with some hailing it as "amazing."

"I'm gonna need one of these! I'm on the hunt now!", exclaimed one shopper.

"Oh my this looks delicious", wrote a second.

M&S' Winter Wonderbar costs £5 and is available now.
