High street giant M&S has issued an urgent warning to all of its shoppers.
Now Freedom Day is here, the chain's boss has warned that store hours may need to be cut.
The boss of Marks and Spencer, Steve Rowe, said by mid-August as many as 1 in 5 supermarket workers could be in home isolation.
The number of test and trace app 'pings' is growing rapidly - with some branding it a 'pingdemic'.

“If there’s shortages we’ll have to manage it by changing hours of stores [and] reducing hours,” Rowe said.
According to Birmingham Live, businesses and unions have warned that Monday could be the first "chaos day" due to staff shortages triggered by workers having to self-isolate.
The self-isolation requirement will be abolished for contacts of positive cases for under 18s and for double vaccinated adults from August 16.
Testing will still be available after July 19, while hotel quarantine will continue to be enforced for those UK residents travelling back from red listed countries.
