M&M's launch their first ever chocolate bars - and they sound amazing

M&M fans across the nation, prepare yourselves, as the famous balls of chocolate have just got a huge makeover.

So M&M has decided to finally join in with the rest of its chocolate counterparts, by turning its famous little M& balls into a chocolate bar.

After decades of living their individual lives, the colourful M&M’s are stepping out of their comfort zone and getting stuck into blocks of chocolate.

So now rather than being surrounded by air in a bag, they're surrounded by milk chocolate in one big block.

Having originally launched in the USA and Australia last year, British M&M fans can now finally get their hands on the chocolate chunks on home turf. Although sadly, there's no crispy mint or almond flavour coming over here...

The chocolate, peanut and normal crispy have all made the cut though, as well as a new hazelnut flavour.

Arriving in Tesco stores from 17th July before a full national roll-out across other retailers and convenience stores from 17th August, with an RRP of £2.49.

Slightly different to the rest of its chocolate bar rivals though, M&Ms bars will stand upright on shelves inside of laying across, wrapped in the brand’s vibrant signature packaging.

A big moment for the chocolate brand, the launch of M&M's Bars marks one of the most exciting product innovations for M&M’s to date, and has taken several years of development.
