Over the weekend the Government ordered holidaymakers returning from Spain to quarantine for 14 days on return from the UK following a surge in Covid-19 cases.
Many travellers decided to cancel or cut their holidays as a result, while TUI and Jet2 cancelled flights.
France and Germany are also reportedly at risk of joining Spain on the UK quarantine list, due to an increase in cases in both countries.
Downing Street said it will not hesitate to order quarantine measures on those arriving from other destinations if neccessary.
