M&Ds cast a spell with new family show this Halloween

M&D’s is to host an interactive family show themed on one of Halloween’s favourite films and best loved witches.

Produced and presented by award-winning Wicked Entertainment, The Sanderson Sisters will present ‘I Put A Spell on You’ on Sunday, October 16 from 12.30pm until 2pm.

Set in Salem 300 years ago, the interactive show is themed around three famous witches who will have you singing and dancing in the aisles.

The lunchtime show, priced £15.45 per person, will be held within the Alona Hotel at M&D’s and there will be an opportunity to meet and greet the characters before and after the performance.

Jensen Taylor Connelly of M&Ds said: “The productions by Wicked Entertainment are terrific and everybody loves a good Halloween story. It’s also a great way to kick start the October school half term break and we have lots going on to keep everyone entertained as the nights start to draw in.”

The show is just one of a number of events taking place this October at M&D’s.

A family favourite, the Pumpkin Outdoor Festival features new ghostly story telling about Witch Wizzbottom’s Magical Book by Folksy Theatre, Bash a Pumpkin Game, where everyone receives a prize, the Pumpkin Trail and the Pumpkin Patch where visitors can pick the pumpkin of their choice.

Children can also enjoy a trip on the Pumpkin Express Train as well as new Halloween themed arts and crafts.

The Pumpkin Outdoor Festival will take place on selected dates and times from Saturday, October 8 until Sunday, October 30. Dedicated ASN performances will also take place at 11am on Sunday, October 23 and 5pm on Thursday, October 27. Online tickets are priced at £8.50 which includes a hot drink or £10.95 which includes a pumpkin.

Outbreak at Scotland’s Theme Park is also back, this year presenting a new outdoor immersive horror experience called ‘The Well’.

Running on various dates and times, the fright nights are taking place until Monday, October 31.

The experience was voted winner of the UK’s Scary Vision Award 2022 and this year ‘The Well’ promises to excel it in scares, jumps and all things spooktacular.

And Darktober provides the opportunity for visitors to ride in the dark on a selection of outdoor rides, such as The Twister, Rip Tide, Dancing Galleons and many more, with a special Darktober wristband enabling people access to the rides as many times as they like on the date of their visit.
