M&D's Theme Park is set for a sizzling summer season with the arrival of lots of new rides to entertain families.
Whatsmore, from today, the Park will be open daily from 10.30am until 6pm.
Located within Strathclyde Park, the iconic park has more than 40 attractions and this season the team has invested in bringing in new rides, suitable for all age groups, creating a fun packed day out.
Food outlets have also been upgraded with the introduction of new menus featuring the Park’s famous ice-cream and fudge, and a new Beer Garden has opened, whilst adhering to Covid guidelines.
New rides include the Pony Express and Tea-Cups for the youngest visitors, whilst thrill seekers can dare to try the Miami Fast and Furious or the Twister, both fast and rotating, alongside traditional favourites the Rock Star Waltzers and the House of Fun.

Attractions also include the new 7.9m high climbing walls and a 200ft long zip slide.
Jensen Taylor Connelly said: "We are all thrilled to be welcoming visitors back to the Theme Park and this year we have the biggest line up of new rides and attractions that we’ve ever had. We have spent the past few months refurbishing our Bistro at the Loch and creating a Beer Garden, doing everything we possibly can to ensure families have a great day out.
"We’ve also seen an upturn in people booking our onsite hotel for staycations and it’s just great to see people beginning to be able to enjoy themselves again."
Visitors to the Theme Park need to book in advance at www.scotlandsthemepark.com and purchase fun points for the rides as well as tickets for Devil’s Island Adventure Golf and Amazonia. Current Covid restrictions mean that the Soft Play is currently closed.
Details of special staycation packages at the AlonA Hotel are available from www.alonahotel.co.uk.
