A senior figure in the Lyons family crime clan has reportedly been found dead in his cell at a Scots jail.
A source told the Daily Record that the body of Andy Gallacher is understood to have been discovered by staff at HMP Addiewell in West Lothian on Friday morning.
We previously told how the 43-year-old was allegedly attacked by another inmate in August while he was painting a wall within the jail.
He reportedly suffered a cut to the top of his head and received two butterfly stitches for the wound.

It is understood that Gallacher and his gangland pal Brian Ferguson were both put into isolation following the incident- after his pal waded in to help him.
Gallacher is one of six men who were convicted for conspiracy to murder in May 2019.
A court was told how the men were associates of the Lyons crime family and had been rumbled while plotting to kill five men linked to their rivals, the Daniel Family.
It included plans to murder ex-taxi firm boss Steven “Bonzo” Daniel, who now uses the surname Peebles.
The six were locked up for a total of 104 years.
Gallacher, Brian Ferguson and John Hardie were all each jailed for 20 years.
Robert Pickett was locked up for 16 years while Peter Bain was sentenced to 15 years.
Andrew Sinclair was jailed for 13 years and three months.
Prosecutors then moved for them to be slapped with Serious Crime Prevention Orders (SCPO) after they were sentenced.
A spokesperson for the Scottish Prison Service said: "We are not able to confirm details of a death in custody until we have been notified that next of kin have been informed.
"Once that has been done, we will publish the details on our website.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland added: "Around 8am on Friday, 12 November, 2021, police were called following a report that a man had died within HMP Addiewell, West Lothian.
"Enquiries into the cause of his death are ongoing. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
Sodexo Justice Service, who run the jail on behalf of the SPS, said: "Until the next of kin have been informed, we are unable to provide details regarding the death of a prisoner.”
