Thank you for joining me for this entertaining game. Have a lovely evening.

Gone!

Going…

PSG’s lead going…

Let’s take a look at all the goals in that action-packed second half.

Kári Tulinius gets in touch: “With a player like Marie-Antoinette Katoto in your team, you can be under the kosh [sic] all game, but she’ll show up in the right time and the right place and score goals.”

You’re quite right Kári. She may be the key player for PSG in the second leg.

On the contrary, Katoto is doing her best to rally the troops. When she went off with 15 minutes to go, she must have expected her side to win the game. The tie is far from over though. She looks keen to remind her teammates of that fact.

Bompastor looks defiant on the touchline. She turns to face the crowd as if to say “are you not entertained?”

Full time: Lyon 3-2 PSG

What a game! I’m still struggling to process what happened.

Updated

90 +3 min: Lyon are keen to see the game out. They take the ball to the corner flag.

87 min: This is extraordinary. PSG looked like they were in control of this game until the 79th minute. Even at 2-1, I expected a little composure from Prêcheur’s side. Instead, they have it all to do after three fantastic goals from Lyon.

GOAL! Lyon 3-2 PSG (Majri, 85)

Oh my word! Lyon have turned this around in the space of six minutes. I’ve not even had a minute to take a breath. This time it’s Majri’s turn to use the weight of the pass into her to outsmart her defender. Rather than controlling the ball normally, she lets it run through her legs on the edge of the area. With the extra yard of space, she drills the ball into the bottom right corner. What a comeback!

Updated

GOAL! Lyon 2-2 PSG (Dumornay, 84)

And that’s why they’re eight time champions! Renard wins a knock down on the edge of the box where she manages to lay the ball off for Dumornay. The midfielder does well to use her body and the pace of the ball to wrongfoot the defender and get the ball out of her feet. What comes next is unstoppable. Dumornay unleashes a right-footed rocket into the top right corner. No chance for Picaud.

Updated

80 min: That’s got to hurt for PSG. Not only have they conceded, but they’ve conceded a goal to their former player Diani. But there’s no time for sentiment. Diani and her side are desperate for another goal.

GOAL! Lyon 1-2 PSG (Diani, 79)

PSG will regret those missed chances. Lyon work it into another dangerous area and find Kadidiatou Diani on the right. She dribbles towards goals and toe-pokes the ball into the bottom left corner. What a finish!

Updated

77 min: Lyon are beginning to apply pressure in the second half. They’re improving their build up play and getting into some dangerous areas.

75 mins: Both teams make a host of changes. Cascarino, who was excellent for Lyon in the first half, makes way for Amel Majri. Lieke Martens and Amalie Vangsgaard replace Jade Le Guilly and goalscorer Katoto for PSG.

73 min: Will PSG regret these missed chances? Lyon have a chance to regroup as Karchaoui goes down and receives treatment from the medical staff.

70 min: PSG hit Lyon on the break and Chawinga does remarkably well to beat Lyon captain Renard. Chawinga only has one more defender to beat but she cleverly plays the ball to Katoto on her left. On a hat-trick, you’d put money on the striker to score but Christiane Endler makes a huge save to keep Lyon in the game (and perhaps the tie).

67 min: PSG look more likely to score than Lyon. PSG are doing anything but resting on their laurels. They know they’ll need a couple more goals to put this tie to bed.

63 min: Sonia Bompastor looks beyond frustrated. There’s a lot of finger wagging and head shaking on the touchline.

59 min: PSG have stunned Lyon. I expected Lyon to come out all guns blazing in the second half. Instead, PSG have had all the chances so far.

57 min: Lyon need someone to get them back into this game. Maybe Daniëlle van de Donk can help them. She replaces Vicki Bècho.

45 min: Play resumes with PSG keen to maintain their lead. Prêcheur made one change at half time with Thiniba Samoura coming on for Korbin Albert.

50 min: Another chance for PSG! This time it’s a reverse of their previous attempt. Karchaoui turns provider, threading the ball through to Chawinga on the edge of the box, but she pokes her shot just wide of the right post.

49 min: PSG are playing with real confidence now. Prêcheur’s team break after soaking up pressure from Lyon. Chawinga drives purposefully through the middle of the park before holding the ball up for Karchaoui . Just as you think she’s going to punish Lyon, she slips and her right-footed effort trickles wide.

GOAL! Lyon 0-2 PSG (Katoto, 46)

What is going on??? The ball bounces around on the edge of Lyon’s penalty area with PSG showing off their football tennis skills. Chawinga shoots but it’s deflected on as far as Katoto who takes the ball in stride and slots it into the corner. Her second goal of the game!

The two teams have made their way back to the field. We’re about to enter the second quarter of this semi-final.

Here’s the goal.

Half time: Lyon 0-1 PSG

Wow, I didn’t see that coming. Despite having most of the ball and some of the best opportunities, it’s PSG who hit Lyon with the sucker punch. Jocelyn Prêcheur will go into the dressing room the happier manager.

GOAL! Lyon 0-1 PSG (Katoto, 43)

Against the run of play, PSG take the lead. They do well to win the ball from Lyon deep in the home side’s half. Within a flash the ball is shifted right to Baltimore, who beats her defender at the byline. She whips in a cross for Katoto who takes a moment to control the ball, swivel and slot the it into the bottom left corner.

Updated

37 min: Lyon play some intricate passes on the left to set Cascarino free. She jinks left and right to beat her defender before hitting a low drive towards Picaud’s right. The shot isn’t quite in the corner so Picaud is able to save the shot with her right foot.

Updated

33 min: Big chance for Lyon! A deep free kick for Lyon is hoofed into the box for Picaud to claim. Or so we thought. The PSG keeper spills the ball and it falls to Wendie Renard about 10 yards out. She rushes her shot though and strikes the ball into the side netting. That’s a let off for PSG.

28 min: Lyon are putting the pressure on now. Cascarino is a constant threat on the left and beats the fullback to win a corner. Picaud is forced to make another save down to her right from the resulting corner.

23 min: Despite PSG’s moments, Lyon are the only team testing the keeper. Melchie Dumornay lays the ball off for Damaris Egurrola who smacks a first-time shot towards the top right hand corner. It takes a fabulous save from Picaud to keep it out.

Updated

21 min: PSG are strutting their stuff with some moments of ingenuity. Groenen scoops a delicious through ball to Marie-Antoinette Katoto on the edge of the box but she’s stretching and can’t quite reach it.

20 min: Chawinga switches wings and finds herself on the left hand side of the pitch. She does well to body feint and nutmeg her defender before running into trouble. Although it came to nothing, the footballer in me can appreciate that bit of skill.

15 min: Lyon are dictating the pace of the game at the moment. They look comfortable in possession for the most part but Grace Geyoro and Jackie Groenen are doing well to win the ball when they can.

12 min: PSG are back down the other end of the pitch, winning their third corner of the game. An in-swinging corner from Sandy Baltimore ultimately comes to nothing though.

7 min: Lyon are doing their utmost to stamp their authority on this game. This time it’s former PSG midfielder Lindsey Horan with an effort on goal. She finds herself in a good position, 18 yards from a goal, but her shot is tame and it’s an easy save for Constance Picaud.

Updated

6 min: Lyon issue PSG with a warning. Delphine Cascarino receives the ball on the left and cuts in to let fire with her right foot. It’s a wicked shot that whistles over the bar.

2 min: PSG have started brightly. Tabitha Chawinga receives the ball on the right wing and spreads the play out to the left, finding Sakina Karchoui in the box. The French international runs at her defending menancingly before whipping a cross come shot back towards Chawinga. The forward can’t connect with it though and it’s out for a goal kick.

Kick off

1 min: Lyon get us underway, kicking from left to right.

The two teams line up in the tunnel and make their way onto the pitch. For Lyon, a chance to move a step closer to a ninth Champions League title. For PSG, an opportunity to close the gap between the sides and go one step further in this competition.

A final against either Chelsea or Barcelona awaits the winner of this tie. Chelsea have drawn first blood in their semi-final. Check out Suzanne Wrack’s Barcelona v Chelsea match report.

A word on those teams

For Lyon there are three changes from the side who beat Saint Etienne 6-1 in their last league game. Amel Majri, Dzsenifer Marozsán and Alice Sombath make way for Lindsey Horan, Delphine Cascarino and Ellie Carpenter.

PSG also make three changes from their 3-3 draw with Guingamp. Grace Geyoro, Jackie Groenen and Elisa De Almeida replace Thiniba Samoura, Anaïs Ebayilin and Tara Elimbi Gilbert.

Preamble

Hello and welcome to live minute-by-minute coverage of Lyon v PSG in the Women’s Champions League semi-final.

It’s the most played fixture in the history of the competition, with four semi-final clashes between the sides alone. If history is anything to go by, Lyon should prevail because of their last three semi-final victories over PSG. They also have the edge over their domestic rivals in the Division 1 Féminine as Sonia Bompastor’s side sit at the top of the table.

But, football is a funny old game, and PSG will be encouraged by their 1-1 draw with Lyon in February. It took a last minute own goal from Elisa De Almeida to maintain Lyon’s unbeaten record in the league. Jocelyn Prêcheur’s team will be hoping to go one step further in their bid to win a first Champions League title.

It should be an exciting game. There’s only national pride at stake. Keep refreshing this page for updates.

Kick off is at 18:00 BST.
