Lyon striker Moussa Dembele responds to Manchester United transfer speculation

Lyon striker Moussa Dembele has refused to rule out a transfer this summer amid reports Manchester United are interested in the former Celtic man.

Dembele has only been at Lyon for a season since leaving Celtic in a £19.8m move last summer, but has made a big impression with 20 goals in his debut campaign for the club.

That included three goals in his last four appearances to help his side secure an automatic Champions League place for next season.

And such form has inevitably led to links with United, with manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer reported this week to be considering a £40m transfer for the 22-year-old.

Solskjaer will therefore be interested to hear what Dembele has said about his future, as he left the door open for a potential move following the end of the Ligue 1 season.

He said: "I signed for five years with Lyon and I'm happy there but we'll see what happens.

"I'm happy to stay with Lyon next season but we'll see."

Dembele scored 51 goals in 94 appearances for Celtic before his move to France last summer.
