Lyon president tells Tottenham fans when Tanguy Ndombele transfer will be completed

Lyon president has revealed the condition that will see him sell Tanguy Ndombele to Tottenham.

The midfielder is regarded as Spurs' number one target this summer, with Mauricio Pochettino keen to kick on and challenge for the Premier League title next term.

A deal for the midfielder won't be cheap, with the French side expected to command upwards of £70million for the 22-year-old.

Ndombele has also attracted the attention of Barcelona, Juventus and Manchester City, but Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has said that he'll only consider selling him if he can find a replacement first.

He said: In terms of the chronology, before accepting the transfer of Ferland Mendy to Madrid, we signed the young international U17 Belgian, Heritier Deyonge, from PSV Eindhoven.

"What I can say to you is if you see a very good box-to-box midfield youngster arrive, in the coming days, then there will be a chance that Tanguy Ndombele leaves, but for the moment, we have not received offers of the level that we feel is a just price."

Tanguy Ndombele opened up on links with a move to Spurs this week, saying: "It's true.

"Tottenham are a big club, they finished in 4th place in their league, they were Champions League finalists - which player would not be interested in a big club?"
