Lyon boss Sylvinho says forward Moussa Dembele won't be leaving the club despite interest from Manchester United .
The 23-year-old former Fulham and Celtic man as been suggested as a possible target for the Red Devils should they fail to agree a deal that would see the Juventus forward Paulo Dybala join the club in a swap deal for Romelu Lukaku.
But Lyon have no indication of selling according to the former Arsenal , Barcelona and Manchester City full-back Sylvinho, who took over at the Ligue 1 club this summer.
"Dembele won't move," he told L'Equipe . "The window is closed! Okay?"
Instead of losing players, Lyon are looking to add to their squad in wake of selling Nabil Fekir to Real Betis according to the Brazilian.
"We could also recruit another defender," he said.
"We'll see. It's not an easy thing to replace Nabil, an important player with extraordinary technical quality. We need to see whether someone can really help. It's a matter of opportunity."
Dembele - who scored 20 goals in 45 appearances for Lyon last season - spoke of his determination to enjoy another successful season in France after notching a brace in his side's 2-1 friendly victory over Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.
"The most important thing is that we won," he told reporters after Lyon had lifted the Emirates Cup.
"I want to be an undisputed starter this season.
"I’m going to have perform well consistently. I want to have a great season with Lyon."
Dembele joined Lyon from Celtic last summer for £19.7million, having scored 51 goals in 94 games in Scotland, doing the treble of Scottish Premiership, Scottish Cup and Scottish League Cup in each of his two full seasons at Parkhead.
