Lyndsay McLauchlan: Police 'growing concerned' for wellbeing of Blantyre woman missing overnight

Update: Lyndsay has been found safe and well

Police are becoming 'increasingly concerned' for the wellbeing of a woman missing from her home overnight.

Lyndsay McLauchlan was last seen in Lochinver Crescent in Blantyre around 6.50pm on Friday, September 17.

The 45-year-old is described as 5ft 2ins in height, with short fair/blonde hair, and speaks with a local accent.

She is believed to be wearing a black jacket with a hood, a red jumper, blue jeans, and black trainers.

Inspector Ross Aitken said: “Along with Lyndsay’s family, we are growing increasingly concerned for her wellbeing as time passes.

“We’re asking for anyone with information on her whereabouts or any possible sightings, to please call police on 101, quoting incident 3393 of 18 September.”
