Lyndon Dykes 'nears' £2m QPR transfer as Livingston striker set to miss Rangers game

Livingston striker Lyndon Dykes is set to miss Sunday's clash with Rangers after the Lions accepted a bid from Queens Park Rangers.

The 24-year-old impressed for Gary Holt 's side last season, hitting 12 goals and terrifying defenders with his physical style.

Dykes has two goals in his three Premiership games this season but could be set for a move.

According to the Daily Mail, Livi have accepted a bid worth around £2million from QPR and the striker will sit out the game against Rangers.

Director of football Les Ferdinand has been keeping tabs on Dykes in recent weeks and the two clubs are down to the final details of an agreement.

The forward, who is eligible for both Scotland and Australia, is also of interest to Barnsley who have seen two bids rejected.

But it now appears he's set to join Mark Warburton's side as QPR preempt the departure of Eberechi Eze.

Crystal Palace have had a £12million bid rejected for the striker, with West Ham and Newcastle also believed to be interested.

Eze hit 14 Championship goals last season and is expected to depart Loftus Road.
