Lydia Bright forced to defend drinking wine when looking after baby daughter after trolls attack

Shocked Lydia Bright bit back at a vicious troll who said it was "child abuse" to enjoy a glass of wine after her baby went to bed.

The former TOWIE star is angry when a fan hi-jacked an Instagram Q&A after she put little Loretta down for the night.

The 30-year-old was taking questions but one follower wasn't impressed she was putting her feet up with a drink on Saturday night.

She shared a message which was sent to her saying: "Pic of your baby? Is there something wrong with her?

"You shouldn't be drinking while looking after your baby. That's abuse you know.

"Hangover? It's just you and your baby - wise to be getting drunk is it?"

Lydia didn't take the accusation that she was being a bad mum lying down.

"After a year of no alcohol, I had my first glass of wine last week," she responded. "Last night I had a couple of glasses. I wasn't drunk and Loretta was in bed.

"I have a small hangover which is already lifting because my body isn't used to alcohol after such a long time."

She added: "Give a girl a break!"

The new mum then posted a message from a fan saying: "You had a drink of wine last night, so what? I for one hope you enjoyed it."

The reality star went on to share another post which read: 'There is no such thing as a perfect parent. So just be a real one.'

Other agreed with her, saying a glass or two doesn't hurt as she relaxed after a tiring day.

Lydia told Hello about the feeling of welcoming Loretta into the world in late February.

"I'm still on a massive high at the moment. I'm not even struggling with the sleep! I'm loving the night feeds," she said.

"That's my favourite time. I sit there breastfeeding and I just stare at her. I definitely feel like I've been blessed with a dream child."
