Luxury wedding venue in North Wales is going back up for auction

A luxury wedding venue that sold at auction last year is going back under the hammer.

Llanrhaeadr Springs, between Denbigh and Ruthin, opened in 2015 and included a restaurant and spa to complement its wedding offering.

But receivers were called in back in 2019 with the site closed.

Last spring the property was sold at auction for £421,000 as a potential residential development or for operators wanting to run it as a wedding site again.

Now those owners have placed the site back up for auction again with Allsop - on a guide price of offer over £450,000.

Ben Hodge, from Allsop, described it as a good opportunity with a lot of 'value added' potential.

He said: "It is a beautiful building in a fantastic location. We expect a lot of interest in the site."

The facility was converted from the former coach house, stable block and outbuildings of Llanrhaeadr Hall.

It now includes wedding venue accommodation, treatment rooms, and other spa facilities.

Allsop added: "Potential development opportunity subject to obtaining all necessary consents."

The online auction is taking place on May 6.
