- A luxury hotel in Cornwall, St Moritz Hotel, is offering to cover 15 per cent of guests' petrol costs this summer.
- This initiative aims to alleviate the burden of rising fuel prices, which have seen petrol increase by 8.6p per litre between February and March.
- The hotel stated it is “doing what airlines won't” by covering the fuel surcharge to help travellers reach the Cornish coast.
- Guests who booked a stay before 12 April for travel until 1 July are eligible for the discount.
- The petrol contribution will be calculated based on the guest's postcode, average UK miles per gallon, and current fuel prices.
