Luxury Space Travel Operator Spacevip Announces Michelin-Starred Meal Experience

Exclusive stratospheric dining experience at 100,000 feet above sea level.

Space VIP, a luxury space travel operator, has announced a groundbreaking collaboration with acclaimed chef Rasmus Munk to host a stratospheric dining experience at the edge of space. Priced at $495,000 per-passenger, this once-in-a-lifetime adventure is set to take place in late 2025 aboard the carbon-neutral Spaceship Neptune.

The six-hour expedition will see participants ascend 100,000 feet above sea level in a pressurized capsule lifted by a stratospheric space-balloon. Onboard amenities include Wi-Fi for live streaming the experience back to Earth.

Chef Rasmus Munk, known for his two-Michelin-star restaurant Alchemist, will craft a menu inspired by the impact of space exploration on society over the last 60 years. The meal will challenge diners to reexamine their relationship with Earth and its inhabitants.

Proceeds from the exclusive dining experience will be directed to the Space Prize Foundation, furthering the mission of promoting universal space literacy. French fashion house Ogier will provide custom outfits for passengers using cutting-edge fabric technology tailored to the space mission.

Space VIP founder Roman Chiporukha expressed excitement about the transformative power of space travel and the potential for space solutions to benefit Earth. The company aims to make space tourism more accessible and increase awareness about the importance of space exploration.

With dozens of interested participants already in line for the Michelin-starred space meal, Chiporukha anticipates filling all six seats sooner than expected. The expedition promises to offer a unique perspective on our planet and foster a sense of unity among passengers.

As plans for the cosmic culinary experience continue to develop, Space VIP remains committed to promoting space literacy and offering a range of space tourism experiences. The upcoming voyage represents a significant milestone in private space travel, paving the way for future space adventures.
