A new, "luxury" hotel will open on Liverpool's foodie street this summer in place of what was once student flats.
Local developer Evolve Property Group will open its new Urbanista Hotel on Bold Street after it has completed its £500,000 works to the building.
According to Evolve, the hotel will create multiple career vacancies from managerial roles through to front of house and housekeeping for people in Liverpool .
The group announced the project in May, and since then, has continued the redevelopment of the project.
This week, it has revealed it's making "fantastic progress", using local suppliers and contractors.
The Bold Street-based site will be home to 20 "luxury" double rooms and suites across three floors.
A number of suites will also have private external courtyards.
David Colebourn, managing director of Evolve Property Group, and owner of Urbanista, said: “Urbanista’s opening is nearing and we can’t wait to welcome our guests.
"We’re pushing forward with the development of the hotel and we are aiming for a late September launch which is on track and ensuring that we’ll be delivering the project on time."
The hotel will be operated by Voya Hotels.
