Four £1million luxury mansions have been torn down after they were built in the wrong place.
Just one six-bedroom home is still standing but will be gone soon after a planning rules breach.
The properties were up to a third bigger than the submitted plans and were built in different locations than was allowed.
Bolton Council ordered their removal in 2018.
An appeal by the builder and owners has failed.
Cllr Andy Morgan said: “Four of the five houses have now come down. It’s the right thing to do.”
He said two applications had been submitted for slightly different homes on the West Pennine Moors site near Bolton.

The luxury detached properties, at Grundy Fold Farm, off Chorley Old Road, for which Bolton council issued an enforcement notice for demolition in 2018, were up to a third bigger and in different locations than allowed, a planning inquiry heard.
Planning permission was initially granted for the conversion of the former farmhouse and four new homes around a central courtyard in 2014.

At the inquiry, our sister paper the MEN reported that Bolton Council argued harm had been caused to the green belt and that the current location of the houses represents ‘a significant departure away from the clear design intentions of the 2014 scheme’.
