Hannah Rankin will be back in the ring next month as she prepares to travel to South Africa to face former two-weight champion Kholosa Ndobayini.
Announcing the news on Twitter last week, the Luss-born fighter said: “Buzzing to announce my next fight is going to be in Cape Town, South Africa, on March 12.
“I’ll be co-main event on a pay-per-view card vs former two-weight South African champion Kholosa Ndobayini.
“Watch this space on how to tune in and a big thanks to Sam Kynoch for all his hard work organising the bout.”
Hannah will go into the clash looking to prove a point after suffering the first stoppage of her career – inside seven rounds –against Savannah Marshall in October.
The former IBO super welter weight world champion is targeting a return to the division after struggling with the size of middleweight Marshall in their last outing.
Standing opposite her in the ring however will be former South African light and super-light weight title winner Ndobayini, who will be looking to put back-to-back defeats to Matshidiso Mokebisi behind her.
Ndobayini has fought 22 times professionally, recording 13 victories (three by knockout) and nine defeats.
Hannah meanwhile will look to add to her tally of nine victories in 14 outings.
