Lush in Leeds is getting a whole new look this weekend

By Craig Jones

Lush is bringing an immersive sleep pop up attraction to Leeds - but you can’t sleep in it.

The pop up will have a tunnel installation allowing visitors to immerse themselves into the space and learn practises to help them feel more calm and grounded.

The journey will be an introduction to mindfulness and offer advice for things to try at home.

The attraction will be at Trinity Leeds on Saturday, September 18, and Sunday, September 19. As part of its tour, the pop up will visit London and Cardiff among other locations.

Rose Eskafi, mindfulness and compassion practitioner, said: “Mindfulness is the basic human ability to be fully present, aware of where we are and what we’re doing, and not overly reactive or overwhelmed by what’s going on around us.

“When we’re mindful, we reduce stress, enhance performance, gain insight and awareness through observing our own mind, and increase our attention to others’ well-being.”

Visitors to the pop up will sell items from Lush’s Sleepy range and they’ll also be sneak peeks at Christmas specials.
