Lush employee shares 60 second trick for making bubble bars last longer

Relaxing in a bubble bath is a favourite pastime of many, but keeping stocked up on bath bombs and colourful soap can prove expensive. Thankfully, Lush fans are in luck, as a staff member has shared her top tip for making bubble bars last longer - and it's genius.

Not only is the simple hack easy to use but it can also help keep your products fresher for longer. The hack delighted millions of people after it was shared online, prompting many to wonder why they hadn't thought of it sooner.

Regardless, now everyone can make the most of the tip which is sure to catch on quickly.

Sharing the clever recommendation on TikTok, @bubblegirl666 demonstrated: "How I store my bubble bars for freshness and maximised use as a Lush employee."

In the video, she proceeded to slice her bubble bar into cubes before sprinkling the fragments into a jar she sealed shut. The quick hack can be completed in a matter of seconds and allows you to get far more out of your soap bar or bath bomb, as the employee explained.

"How much was left at the end after filling two decanters, giant snow fairy roll is the boy," she wrote.

In response, fans were quick to praise the idea in the comments of the video, which has amassed nearly three million views.

"I just got the big snow fairy bubble bar and this is so helpful thank you," read one reply. "I'm doing this," said a second.

Meanwhile, a third commented: "Love this."

Someone else revealed: "I have just done this such a fab idea and it smells even more amazing now."

One fan wrote: "I wish they just sold it like that tbh" and a fellow worker added: "I recommend this method to a lot of customers so they can maximise the uses out of them."

Replying to a grateful commenter, the expert said: "Storing lush things well is literally the magic keep to keeping them best use/smelling strong for longest. Enjoy your bubbles."
