Anyone jealous of the sparkly collared Miu Miu blouse Lupita Nyong’o wore to attend the label’s AW14 show last year should log into the Vestiaire Collective website from 3 December (you need to sign up first). The very same blouse has been donated by the actor for a sale that will raise funds for the Women for Women International charity, which helps women in war-torn countries. Along with Nyong’o’s blouse – yours for £490, about £200 less than its original price and it has been worn by the woman herself – there are castoffs from Diane Kruger, Olivia Palermo, Dree Hemingway and Keira Knightley to pick through. Prices start at £50, and relative bargains include Nyong’o’s Ferregamo sunglasses for £90, Knightley’s Converse (£60) and, for £40, a Band of Outsiders shirt that once hung in Hemingway’s wardrobe. And with the proceeds of the sale going to such a worthy cause, it’s all money well spent.
