Lunar eclipse: Photos of Tuesday night's 'blood moon' from across the world

Around the world, keen photographers have pointed their cameras up to the sky to snap the Moon in shades of rust and blood red.

It is the last total lunar eclipse for three years, and has made an impression on people from Bondi Beach to Bangkok. 

During totality, the Moon turns red (hence the nickname "blood moon").

This effect is caused by the bending of light through Earth's atmosphere.
